March 12, 2009US Nukes in the pacific
March 2, 2008I’m not going to tell you what I think of the below facts. I’m just providing you with the information.

I found this weird spot in Micronesia while playing around with google earth one day. First I wasn’t sure what caused it. So I got curious.
Its funny how some countries in the world are held responsible for their “weapons of mass destruction”…
Whats even more funny is that some countries are not…
Nukes though – are pretty darn beautiful when they blow up. It’s a shame they suck at keeping stuff alive…
The [i]-icons you see are pretty much all locations of US nuclear bombs.
You think thats a lot? Scroll down…..
Lets zoom out a little bit further….
I’ll let the picture speak for itself.
Further out… About 80% of the [i]-icons are US nukes.
I wonder why they had to plant all those trees on the islands…
If you want to see the nuke locations for yourself in google earth - get google earth at earth.google.com – and then fly to “micronesia”. After that see the hole (first picture) at “Runit”. Fly around ”Enewatak Atoll” and “Bikini Atoll”. After that you can fly pretty much anywhere (south, north, west, east) and you’ll find a lot more.
And as I said before -I’m not going to tell you what I think of the above facts. I’m just providing you with the information.
Cheers!
P.S. I really like untouched nature. But to be honest, trees in a line do look pretty cool from above.
To bad I can’t go there without glowing in the dark…
